Mentoring Training Event

Do you find many people are drawn to you, looking to learn how to walk out their faith? Or do people come to you looking for advice on situations in their life? Are you connecting with people who want to grow in their relationship with the Lord but just don't know how?

We desire to equip and help create intentional interactions in the Body of Christ between trained mentors and those longing to grow in their journey with the Lord. Spiritual discipleship and deeper relationships are some of the more lacking areas in current church culture. This online training is for those who want to increase their effectiveness and add both to their toolbox and skillsets this greatly needed biblical concept. This event will be taught by Jennifer Smallwood (who has over 20 years of mentoring experiencing) offerring training, discussion, collaboration, and practical activations through the Five Foundations of the Faith equipping the mentor to help others in their next steps of their spiritual walk.

The Five Foundations were originally introduced by Francis Chan in a teaching he shared at the 2015 OneThing conference in Kansas City, MO. These foundations include devotion to the Word of God, devotion to prayer, every believer is to share the Gospel, the regular expectations of the miraculous, and embracing suffering for the glory of Christ. 

This virtual event is open to believers 18 years or older interested in developing their skills as a mentor. The two day training will occur on Saturday November 4th Saturday November 11th 9:00 AM CST until 4:30 AM CST, with a 30 minute lunch break. It is necessary to attend both days. Both days of training will be recorded and included in registration along with the training manual and tools.

Registration is $150 total. $75 is required to register and remaining balance must be received no later than November 1st to receive virtual class access information.
