Reconciliation

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come. Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

- 2 Corinthians 5:17-19, New American Standard Bible 1995

We believe the goal of this life is about growing in knowing God, the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His suffering (Philippians 3:10). In ministry, this means helping others receive the fullness of the good news of the gospel that is accessed only through the cross. Reconciliation is the journey of exchanging the temporal experience for the eternal glory of relationship with our Lord. Learning how to fix our eyes on Jesus as we walk in the plans and purposes prepared for each one of us, we find ourselves unable to do anything but declare Him worthy of all things. We incorporate these concepts of reconciliation as the goal of all aspects of ministry as commissioned ambassadors.

Our Mandates

You Are Worthy Ministries has been established to exalt the name of Jesus through two specific mandates:

Facilitate the Bride of Christ to be equipped and functioning in her gifts and callings.

Facilitate unity of the Spirit in the body of Christ.

In order to fulfill these mandates we offer Biblically grounded equipping, training and activating through Christ-centered classes, discipleship, prophetic encouragement and training, workshops, and worship events.

We believe every person and group is seeking the next step towards the fullness of reconciliation in their relationship with the Lord. Steps may include healing from past traumas and wounds, training in the areas the Lord has gifted them, or equipping into the maturity of knowing God. Every journey is unique so we seek Holy Spirit's leadership for the order and steps for each person or group's needs.

Our Statement of Faith

We believe in the triune God of Father, Son and Holy Spirit - each as different facets of the Most High.

-Deuteronomy 10:17, Revelation 19:16

We believe Jesus came in the flesh both as God and as man, born of a virgin, lived, died, and three days later raised from the dead overcoming death, hell, and the grave.

-1 John 1:2-2, 2 Corinthians 5:15

We believe in Jesus as Savior, with confession, and heart repentance as the only way to be reconciled to the Father and eternal life. The fall of man, originating with Adam and Eve, perpetuated by personal sin, prevented reconciliation and healing of relationship between God and His creation. Jesus alone offers the cross, the redemption humanity could not attain on its own.

-Romans 10:8-10, John 3:16

We believe the scripture is the living Word of God, inspired by Holy Spirit.

-John 1:1, 2 Timothy 3:16

We believe the supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including speaking in tongues, are still for this present age.

-1 Corinthians 2-14
